Meaning ‘Father Buffalo’, Rra Dinare is a well-run tented camp in a private reserve overlooking the Okavango Delta’s Gomoti river floodplains. In partnership with the Sankuyo Community, the camp is operated by Kwando Safaris, which runs camps throughout Botswana and is a consistent favourite with Yellow Zebra. As the camp borders Moremi Game Reserve, the wildlife concentrations here are impressive, and game drives in the vast 27,115-hectare concession promise plenty of action. The camp is also proudly eco-friendly, featuring the latest solar and waste technology. Rates at Rra Dinare are full board and include accommodation, all meals, a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, scheduled activities, and a laundry service.

Our Yellow Zebra Opinion
  • Great value for quality
Rra Dinare is an interesting option due to price alone; it’s not often you get an Okavango private reserve for this cost. However, it is also reasonably small (just 8 tents) and has scenic views over the Gomoti floodplains – so quite a well-rounded property overall!
