The rooms are separated by a lounge area, which has a fireplace and leads onto a private patio. The meals at Montusi tend to be local cuisine, with innovative menus. Whenever the weather permits, meals are taken outside on the Phumleni with its stunning views of the amphitheatre. In winter the meals are usually enjoyed in the intimate restaurant, which has a cosy log fire and under-floor heating.

The thatched main area houses the lounge, bar and restaurant, leading onto a terrace that overlooks a natural pool. There is also a massage treatment room and a large swimming pool.
