By far and away the best private house in Tanzania. Yet again Singita delivers, with outstanding design and extremely high levels of service. Very expensive, but first class.

All are exquisitely furnished, and the palette of beige, blonde, and grey bestows a soothing effect while also mirroring the colours of the sprawling grasses. Each house suite contains a four-poster double bed with mosquito netting, bedside cabinets and lighting, smart storage furniture, and a separate seating area. Wildlife artwork adorns the walls, and a few well-placed artefacts contribute to the authentic safari vibe. The en-suite facilities are beautifully appointed, with flush toilet, twin washbasins, walk-in shower, and big bathtub. There’s an outdoor shower too! The garden suites are approached from the house along neat stone pathways, and both benefit from all the amenities of the house suites as well as a pleasant private veranda.
