This property is run by Namibia Wildlife Resorts. The service can be hit and miss, but it’s only one of two lodges located within the park offering incredible value. Its unique location inside the park makes it the ideal choice for those wanting to photograph the ever-changing colours of the dunes at sunrise and sunset.

Where this lodge really stands out is its location. It is the only lodge inside the park so, unlike those who are staying elsewhere, guests are able to enjoy the contrasting colours and moods of the dunes both at dawn and sunset – a fantastic experience.
*This property is unfenced and located in a wildlife area, so large and potentially dangerous animals do pass through. If you opt to stay here, always be alert when walking around the camp and request for a member of staff to escort you if you have any concerns. Any guest is escorted after dark as a matter of course
Facilities & Amenities
Its 25 luxury “chalets” are spread out across the valley and joined together by a wooden walkway.
They are made of canvas with thatched roofs and wooden frames. The interiors are African colonial style, using a combination of leather and wood, whereas the bathrooms are more contemporary, each with a flushing toilet, shower and wash-basin. They all have stunning views as one wall is made entirely of glass. Thirteen look out onto the dunes, while the remaining twelve face the mountain and canyon.
