Juno’s Recent Travel Experience

Juno has recently returned from a two-month self-driving adventure in South Africa and Mozambique. Being a nature enthusiast, she spent a lot of time in the national parks either on safari or exploring the landscapes on foot. In Mozambique, she was fortunate enough to swim with whale sharks, which was top of her bucket list!

Juno’s Most Memorable Experience

“This has to be camping on the banks of the Zambezi river in Zimbabwe. Waking up to the sounds of the bush in the night – hyenas scavenging, lions roaring, and endless insect sounds –, then climbing out of our tent in the morning to see an elephant and hippos grazing in front of our camp in the magical early morning light, is a memory I will never forget. It still gives me goosebumps even thinking about it now!”

Juno’s Bio

Born in London and raised in Oxfordshire, Juno studied Geography at Newcastle University. During her studies, she developed a keen interest in conservation and sustainability. After graduating, she sought out an opportunity to volunteer at Kipling Camp in Kanha National Park, Central India. Here she helped with the day-to-day running of the camp, hosting the guests during their stay, and educating them about the wildlife and conservation scheme across the park. The camp was also home to Tara, the resident elephant, whom Juno would take down to the river for her daily bath.

Juno’s experience in India ignited her hunger to travel and learn more about different cultures and environments. Since then, she has always been planning her next adventure and making time to travel in her spare time. Her interest in travel led her to a career in the industry and she hasn’t looked back since.
