*This property is unfenced and located in a wildlife area, so large and potentially dangerous animals do pass through. If you opt to stay here, always be alert when walking around the camp and request for a member of staff to escort you if you have any concerns. Any guest is escorted after dark as a matter of course.
Impodimo sits on a hillside in the north-west of Madikwe Game Reserve. The reserve is one of the largest in South Africa and is home to all the Big Five as well as an enormous number of different animals and species of bird. This is a malaria-free area.
The main lodge has an intimate lounge, library, outside dining area, swimming pool and a large viewing deck from which there are spectacular views over the reserve.
The 10 suites are spacious and comfortable with en suite bathrooms and private decks where guests can sit out and relax. Two of them are larger, with an additional lounge, dining room and private plunge pool. Three of the suites have wonderful views of the waterhole where elephants can often be seen coming for a drink.
