Great all-rounder
Another good hotel option from the Serena chain. Great views over Lake Manyara, but our clients do tend to opt for smaller, more personal camps.

The lodge offers a range of safari activities, including canoe safaris on Lake Manyara, camping safaris with overnight stays at a fly-camp, mountain bike rides along the escarpment and Lake Manyara National Park , as well as guided nature walks.
*This property is unfenced and located in a wildlife area, so large and potentially dangerous animals do pass through. If you opt to stay here, always be alert when walking around the camp and request for a member of staff to escort you if you have any concerns. Any guest is escorted after dark as a matter of course.
Facilities
Lake Manyara Safari Lodge is part of the Serena Hotel chain which tends to cater to the upper level of the mainstream travel industry.
It is probably the weakest of the three Serena properties in the area but if this lodge booked as part of a Serena Hotel circuit, the rate becomes much lower.
Amenities
It is large, with 50 guest rooms built in circular thatched bungalows on either side of the main central area.
There is a TV room and a large swimming pool with spectacular views of the rift below.
