Officially part of the Relais & Château Collection, White Sand Villas is a genuine contender for top beach property on the island. Just be careful of your board basis here, as prices for extras are steep. It’s a great property nonetheless.

White Sand Luxury Villas & Spa has an on-site IKO-certified centre, where kite-surfing enthusiasts can enjoy expert tuition. Kayaks, snorkelling equipment, and paddleboards are available for guest use, as is an electric hydrofoil board. Those with a sailing permit can also take to the water on the resort’s Hobie Cat catamaran.

The 1-bedroom beachfront villas are set on individual plots, with direct access to Paje Beach. These feature a king-size en-suite bedroom and separate living area, with a private pool, an outdoor bathroom, and a rooftop terrace with ocean views. The double-occupancy Garden Villas are tucked among tropical greenery and include either a private pool or a hot tub. Families are well catered for with the 2-bedroom villas, or the premier 1,500 square metre Presidential Villa, which features five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a rooftop terrace with a hot tub, a second hot tub in the garden, a private swimming pool, and a sun deck. This house also has a fully equipped kitchen, a large living room, and a dining lounge. Finally, the Cinnamon rooms are located 100 metres from the beach and include double, quad, and family configurations. All accommodations provide the modern comforts one would expect from a luxury beach property, including air conditioning, fans, mosquito nets, and electronic safes.
