Classic Zambia
Our Safari Partners
Classic Zambia is a Zambian-owned company founded by a team of safari industry experts who joined forces to bring a shared vision to life.
Classic Zambia owns four existing camps, Chula Island Camp and Kutali Camp in the Lower Zambezi, and Ntemwa Busanga Camp and Musekese Camp in Kafue National Park. The company will shortly expand its collection with two brand-new camps in the North Luangwa and Kafue. Conservation led, the properties are simple, rustic, and welcoming, located in prime wildlife-viewing areas, and each with a maximum of five guest tents. Overseen by founder and renowned guide trainer Kyle Branch, Classic Zambia is proud of its high-quality wildlife guiding and diverse experiences. Its owners are also the founders of Musekese Conservation, which focuses on safeguarding the greater Kafue ecosystem.

Classic Zambia is all about stripped-back owner-run camps led by passionate conservationists and safari experts. All the camps are in remote, wildlife-dense locations, ensuring guests enjoy prime game-viewing experiences, led by exceptional guides. As a homegrown business, Classic Zambia knows Zambia’s wild spaces exceedingly well and is essentially a genuine, down-to-earth operation with conservation at its core. The Classic Zambia camps are all eco-friendly, but the company chooses not to use ‘sustainability’ as a marketing buzzword, considering environmental awareness non-negotiable. All camps run exclusively on solar power, including water pumps, and the owners are careful about where they obtain their produce, preferring to source locally as much as possible.
The company also tries to employ people from communities close to the camps. Classic Zambia founder, Kyle Branch, is a co-founder of the TEVETA national accreditation syllabus and examinations for Zambia’s professional guides. Passionate about training the future generation of wildlife guides, all the guides you’ll meet at the camps have been trained by Kyle directly. The company’s charity, Musekese Conservation, focuses on protecting the local people and wildlife of Kafue National Park from poaching. Its projects include law enforcement, awareness campaigns, wildlife management, and female empowerment.
