Linyanti Ebony Camp, along with its neighbour, Linyanti Bush Camp , have similar facilities. We like them both, not only due to the great private game-viewing they offer – especially in the dry season, but also as an extremely good alternative to the better-known and rather expensive options nearby.

Our Yellow Zebra Opinion
  • Good for first-timers
Very similar to its sister property Linyanti Bush Camp! The game viewing is great here from June to November, but outside those months I wouldn’t travel here… it’s a classic dry-season reserve where game is difficult in the wet season. A good-value Linyanti camp and my preference of the two properties.

  • Game viewing is superb here, with a large choice of options – day and night game drives, walking safaris, boating safaris and mokoro trips.

*This property is unfenced and located in a wildlife area, so large and potentially dangerous animals do pass through. If you opt to stay here, always be alert when walking around the camp and request for a member of staff to escort you if you have any concerns. Any guest is escorted after dark as a matter of course.

Access & Location

Linyanti Ebony Camp nestles in a grove of trees on the banks of the Linyanti marshes in an area known as the Chobe Enclave. It is bordered in the North by the Chobe River and elsewhere by Chobe National Park . This large private reserve is one of the best big game viewing areas in Botswana. Not only is it home to large herds of elephant and buffalo, but plains game such as antelope, giraffe and zebra are also prolific, attracting predators such as lion, leopard and even wild dog.
