Surrounded by a diverse range of habitats and wildlife corridors, the game viewing here is truly epic, with regular sightings of the elephant mega-herds for which the Linyanti is renowned, as well as lion, leopard, African wild dog, spotted hyena, and enormous hippo concentrations. Please note that fishing is seasonal, as it is prohibited by Botswana law in January and February due to breeding purposes.

Guests might choose to opt for the Conservation & Co-Existence Cultural Experience excursion to learn more about CLAWS (Communities Living Among Wildlife Sustainability) or ‘Life With Elephants’ (NGO with Ecoexist) in the Hambukushu village of Eretsha. Please note that helicopter excursions incur an additional cost.

Wilderness Little DumaTau is located in the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve , with access to both the Linyanti River and the Savuti Channel. Guests reach the camp by light aircraft flight to Chobe Airstrip, followed by an approximately 40-minute vehicle transfer.

The light-filled communal areas include a lounge, an outside dining area, a star deck for pre-dinner drinks and private dining, and a ‘curiosity room’ where guests can browse a wealth of reading material. There’s also an inviting fire-pit, the ideal spot for fellow guests to congregate and share safari stories beneath the stars. Connected to Wilderness DumaTau by elevated walkways, the two camps share access to a bush gym, which features cardio equipment, a range of free weights and Pilates balls, the Osprey Retreat drinks and snacks counter area, and the Safari Boutique. In-suite massages can be arranged at an additional cost.

While rooted in the explorer style, with canvas ceilings, roll-up blinds, and mesh netting, interiors are also light and contemporary with all the conveniences expected of a premier camp. The airy bedrooms have a spot cooling system over the bed, an over-sized mosquito net, an overhead fan, a writing desk, a comfortable indoor lounge with optimal views of the lagoon through light-flooded floor-to-ceiling picture windows, a mini-bar, and a tea-and-coffee station. Additional amenities include a Pilates mat, weights, and resistance bands, and an electronic safe. The camp provides hot water bottles and extra blankets for the cooler evenings. Adjacent to the bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms have indoor and outdoor showers, separate restrooms, and double vanities.
