Activities at 20 Degrés Sud include a variety of watersports – swimming, sailing, diving and big-game fishing, for example.
Hotel staff are happy to arrange excursions – sea cruising, swimming with dolphins, snorkelling off the islet of Coin de Mire, and visiting a wealth of local attractions such as Port Louis market, Pamplemousse botanical gardens and La Bourdonnais colonial castle.
Boat trips to nearby islands are available too.
And billiards may be played in the hotel library, while Mon Choisy Golf Club is just five minutes away.

20 Degrés Sud occupies three separate sites – the grove, a private island off the coast, and the M/S Lady Lisbeth, a 17m vintage motorboat! Each site is home to distinctive dining facilities.
The elegant main building, a mere 10m from the sea, houses the principal restaurant in addition to the library and spa, all flanked by two freshwater swimming pools. On FlatIsland, accessible via the hotel’s private catamaran, listed building Governor’s House offers a grill menu on a spectacular location out at sea. And guests are welcome to board the Lady Lisbeth, which anchors just off the town at Grand Baie for dinner.

20 Degrés Sud guest accommodation consists of 30 rooms and six suites ranging from Charm Room to Beachfront Room to Suite to Austral Suite.
All have air conditioning and include queen-size bed, flatscreen TV, multimedia system, complimentary Wi-Fi and mini bar. Bathrooms feature old-style bath, twin basins and separate shower, with suites boasting either outdoor hot tub or private swimming pool! Each room and suite is furnished differently, though all are styled by the same Belgian interior decorator, Flamant – and all have a private terrace for guests to savour views of the coconut grove or, beyond, the sea.
