*This property is unfenced and located in a wildlife area, so large and potentially dangerous animals do pass through. If you opt to stay here, always be alert when walking around the camp and request for a member of staff to escort you if you have any concerns. Any guest is escorted after dark as a matter of course.
Sambora Kinigi is located on the outskirts of northern Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park. International guests land at Kigali International Airport, followed by a 2.5-hour drive to the lodge. It’s also possible to arrive by light aircraft.

The thoughtful design is simple and tasteful, utilising a variety of natural materials and locally sourced crafts. Each room can be configured as a twin or king-sized unit, accommodating up to two adults and a child.
