Lebombo and its sister lodge Sweni are two of our favorite lodges in South Africa. Both are excellent, but if we had to choose one, we would probably opt for Lebombo; the decor is a little brighter and it is in a more dramatic setting than Sweni.

Unbelievable – one of Africa’s finest and most unique safari camps. Outstanding views, outrageously good food and service, excellent game viewing. I literally cannot fault this property!

Activities

Game drives & walking safari

Mountain biking & archery

  • Not only are there morning and afternoon game drives, but walking safaris are also available. The guides will take you out on foot and use their tracking skills and extensive knowledge to show you animals, large and small, and also tell you fascinating facts about the insects and vegetation around you.

  • Mountain bike riding is possible, as is archery! Yes, archery!

A stay at Lebombo links extremely well with a few days at a lodge in the Sabi Sands. We recommend combining it with one of the Londolozi properties, Singita Boulders, or Singita Ebony.

    Singita Lebombo Lodge 4

*This property is unfenced and located in a wildlife area, so large and potentially dangerous animals do pass through. If you opt to stay here, always be alert when walking around the camp and request for a member of staff to escort you if you have any concerns. Any guest is escorted after dark as a matter of course.

Access & Location

Located in the Lebombo Concession area where the Kruger Park borders Mozambique, Singita Lebombo Lodge is the neighbouring sister property to Singita Sweni. Both are wonderfully remote and a complete contrast to busier areas like the Sabi Sands where many lodges border each other. The game viewing here is excellent. The lodge sits in a dramatic position on the edge of a cliff overlooking the N’wanetsi River below.
