This is the only lodge in the area that is able to offer walking safaris with two walking guides available.
Some of Sussi & Chuma’s activities are included in the rates, such as a tour of the Falls, a sunset cruise, a local school and village visit, and walking safaris.
*This property is unfenced and although animal densities are not that high along this stretch of the Zambezi River, there is always the potential for dangerous game. So if you opt to stay here please always be cautious and look out for wildlife when walking around, especially at night.
Facilities & Amenities
The lodge is made up of 12 tree houses, all connected by raised wooden walkways.
Each of the tree houses has a private deck that offers amazing views of the river. There are also two private houses, perfect for families or couples traveling together as each house includes a personal chef and private plunge pool.
On the top floor of the main area is an open-sided bar, where guests can relax and enjoy pre-dinner drinks. On the lower floor, there is a lounge area and a wine cellar.
