Founded in 1982, Desert & Delta offers a range of immersive experiences for travellers with specific interests, including birding, tigerfishing, cultural excursions, and Makgadikgadi Salt Pans adventures. Committed to supporting local employment, all Desert & Delta properties are managed exclusively by Botswana citizens, and they provide career opportunities for the local communities near the camps. A significant part of the company’s philanthropic efforts focuses on training, career development, and workplace equality.
Desert & Delta is perfect for guests wishing to experience the highlights of Botswana. Its properties are situated in stunning locations throughout the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve, Chobe National Park, the Savute region, and Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, allowing safari-goers to easily combine multiple wildlife-rich regions. All Desert & Delta properties are known for their warm hospitality and commitment to training and employing individuals from the local communities. The company has also created a selection of journeys centred on themes such as wellness, cultural immersion, and female empowerment. Desert & Delta’s charitable foundation, CARES, spearheads a variety of initiatives, including bursaries, youth development, healthcare, career training, and sustainable tourism.
