Born and raised in South Africa, Imogen is excited to share her knowledge and love of various African countries she has visited. She is thrilled to be a part of the team.

Imogen’s Recent Travel Experience

Imogen visited Mauritius with her family, where they not only enjoyed the beautiful beaches such as Flic en Flac but also had the opportunity to go snorkeling in Blue Bay, visit the giant tortoises, see the giant water lilies at the botanical gardens in Pamplemousses, and go on a glass-bottomed boat and swim with the turtles.

Imogen’s Most Memorable Experience

Imogen was driving in the Kruger National Park with her family and drove down Marula Loop, where they were greeted by a beautiful leopard who proceeded to climb a tree just to the right of the road they were on. The tree was so tall, and the first branch that the leopard rested on was at least 6 to 7 meters above the ground. They parked on the side of the road, watching him in absolute awe of his incredible strength and power. He made such a difficult climb look so easy. He eventually lay down comfortably on his branch and drifted off to sleep. If they had driven past just a few minutes later, they would have missed this incredible sighting.

Imogen’s Bio

Imogen was born in Johannesburg and then moved to the coast of KwaZulu-Natal, where she fell in love with the beautiful beaches. She also enjoyed many weekend trips to Hluhluwe–Imfolozi Game Reserve. Her parents’ love for the bush and traveling through Africa left her with such treasured memories of vacations in Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Zambia. She later moved to White River, Mpumalanga, which is about 20 minutes’ drive from one of the Kruger National Park’s gates, called Numbi Gate. Here, she and her husband spent any chance they could get visiting the Kruger National Park and exploring as much of it as possible.
