Katy’s love for working in the travel industry has led her to join the Yellow Zebra team in 2025 as an Operations Executive.
Katy has worked within the travel industry for over 17 years. Having taken on many different roles during that time, including Sales and Guest Relations, her expertise and enjoyment lies in Operations.
Katy’s Recent Travel Experience
Katy’s most recent trip was a family vacation to the Dordogne in the South of France. Here she canoed down the river, taking in the breathtaking sights on the calm water, and visited France’s largest developed cave full of crystal formations.
Katy’s Most Memorable Experience
“Although it’s not in Africa, trekking to Machu Picchu will always remain a highlight and an unforgettable experience for me. The breathtaking view makes it clear to see why it is considered one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. I’ve also enjoyed sleeping under the stars camping whilst in Australia, and without a doubt my most adventurous experience has been skydiving from 15,000ft in Cairns.”
Katy’s Bio
Katy graduated from Portsmouth University with a degree in Business and Tourism Management and quickly joined a specialist travel company that arranged vacations for opera and dance enthusiasts. Katy moved on to work in luxury travel, and this experience helped build a background in travel coordination. Katy has enjoyed traveling to Australia, Hong Kong, Peru, Bolivia, Belize, and many countries across Europe along with Turkey, Tunisia, and Egypt. She is extremely excited to experience Africa and all it has to offer.
