Beautiful Beaches & World-Class Diving

The Quirimbas Archipelago, a remote chain of 32 islands in northern Mozambique, stretches 250km along the coast from Pemba to Palma. Within Quirimbas National Park lie 11 islands, home to a handful of beach lodges and some of Africa’s most beautiful beaches. Exceptional diving, whale sightings, and rich Arab-Portuguese heritage make the Quirimba a rare blend of world-class marine life and interesting cultural influences. Improved air access now makes visiting easier, though journeys remain long. We recommend at least five nights here to make the travel time worthwhile. Combining Quirimbas with a Tanzania safari is a great option for bush and beach vacations.
