With a love for Africa and a varied background with roles in the luxury travel industry, Beatrix joined the Yellow Zebra team in 2025 as an Operations Executive.
Beatrix developed a love for Africa early in life, influenced by family who lived or spent extended time there. Frequent childhood travel and growing up in the New Forest fostered her appreciation for diverse cultures, along with a strong respect for wildlife and its vital role in the environment.
Beatrix’s Recent Travel Experience
Beatrix’s most recent trip was a ski tour through North Macedonia, as an enthusiast of adventurous travel. The tour involved ascending the untouched peaks of the Šar Mountains to ski off-piste back down again, staying in remote mountain huts, and learning about local Macedonian mountain life culture along the way. This experience deepened her appreciation for untouched landscapes and cultural connections.
Beatrix’s Most Memorable Experience
“I’ve been lucky enough to explore some truly incredible wild places, and love the thrill of encountering wildlife up close, especially big cats. I’ve had the unforgettable experience of watching lions, cheetahs, and leopards on safari in Africa, and getting within meters of a tiger whilst on safari in India. There’s nothing quite like the rush of seeing such powerful animals in their natural habitat – it’s completely addictive and has only deepened my love for nature and conservation.”
Beatrix’s Bio
Beatrix’s love for travel began early, with taking her first solo intercontinental flight to South Africa at age 14. Since then, she has traveled extensively, drawn to wild environments and immersive experiences. After graduating from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in Business and Marketing Management, she has built a background in luxury travel coordination. Her passion lies in thrill-seeking adventures and dramatic landscapes.
