Navigated by an expert poler who stands at the front of a traditional dugout canoe, glide along the peaceful waters of the Okavango Delta, taking in the array of wildlife that emerges from its reed-fringed banks.
Accompanied by a professional guide, take to the waters of the Delta and try your hand at catch-and-release fishing. This activity runs between August and the end of October, when fishing is excellent.
For those staying at Setari Camp longer than three nights, enjoy a full-day trip to the Okavango Delta, journeying by boat to the south of the concession, exploring the idyllic islands, before a leisurely picnic.

Setari Camp sits on a palm-fringed island in the central region of the Okavango Delta , north-west of Moremi Game Reserve. The closest international airport is Maun, Botswana and there are daily flights from Johannesburg International Airport and Cape Town. From Maun Airport, guests fly by light aircraft to Old Jedibe Airstrip, followed by a 30-minute scenic boat transfer to the camp.
The communal areas are spacious and open-sided with elevated views of the floodplains.
Comfortable leather armchairs and sink-in sofas offer plenty of space to relax after a day’s safari activities and guests can enjoy both inside and outside dining around the communal table. The camp can accommodate private dinners served in guest tents or on the viewing decks. Setari Camp also has a pool with plenty of shade and a small but well-equipped gym with weights and Pilates balls.
Setari Camp features eight raised tented suites for double or twin occupancy, plus a family suite comprising two adjoining tents.
Each unit has an en-suite bathroom with a separate toilet, free-standing bath, and outdoor shower. The tents are connected via a network of wooden walkways, and all have private decks with superb views of the floodplains. Spacious, shady, and airy, accommodations also include super-king-size beds with an option for twin configuration, mosquito nets, sink-in sofas, fans, mosquito nets, armchairs, safes, and writing desks. One of the tented suites has been designed for those with limited mobility. Its bathroom is fully accessible with lower sinks and space for easily moving around in a wheelchair. The entire camp is built on level walkways with no steps anywhere, and wheelchairs are available for those who need them. The family unit shares an oversized wooden deck via an interleading door in the outside showers to ensure safety for younger children. There is also a private decking area in between the tents, suitable for private dining.
