There really is loads to see and do! If you love shopping, you will relish checking out any of the exciting shopping malls.
Foodies will appreciate the restaurants, including Restaurant Gathemann for authentic Namibian cuisine and the aptly named Gourmet for international dishes.
The city has many cafés too, fabulous for taking a break between activities and watching the world go by! There are plenty of bars too – the Guesthouse is only a few minutes from the famous Joe’s Beerhouse.
Other attractions are the National Museum of Namibia, the National Art Gallery, Heinitzburg Castle, plus landmarks and monuments galore!

The communal areas of Elegant Guesthouse comprise a stylish lounge featuring large sofas with plenty of comfy cushions in earthy tones.
The room also contains a coffee table, a small selection of books, and a TV and DVD player. Free tea and coffee is available throughout the day in the homely breakfast room, while the super-chic dining room offers separate tables and upright chairs for guests – this is a great space for enjoying the buffet breakfast provided by the property as well as eating meals ordered in! The kitchen has an honesty bar. Both the lounge and dining room flow out into the peaceful private garden, which boasts additional seating and a gorgeous water feature that adds to the tranquil air. The theme of water continues to the side of Elegant Guesthouse, where there is a swimming pool surrounded by sunloungers, a popular place for guests to unwind!

Elegant Guesthouse’s guest accommodation consists of six luxurious rooms, all with en-suite facilities.
Each has a double bed or twin beds, bedside tables, air conditioning, satellite, TV, telephone and safe. The en-suite facilities are a flush toilet, washbasin and shower. The neutral palette of the rooms, with just a few subtle splashes of color, bestows a very restful feel, while all en-suites boast a pleasant contemporary style. Honeymooners might like to request Room 3, as it has its own secluded patio!
