With an elevated position overlooking the Boteti river, Leroo La Tau is an upscale safari lodge on the western outskirts of Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. A particular draw to this region is the spectacular annual wildlife migration between May and October, when thousands of wildebeest and zebra relocate here in search of water. Leroo La Tau is managed by Desert & Delta Safaris, a highly accomplished safari business with an impressive portfolio of camps and lodges across Botswana, including the Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve, Chobe National Park, and the Makgadikgadi Pans. Accommodation is booked on a full-board basis, including all meals, a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, and scheduled safari activities.

Our Yellow Zebra Opinion
  • Great choice
Leroo La Tau truly comes alive from May to October as Africa’s second-largest migration converges through the Boteti River Valley where the camp is located. Wildlife sightings during this time are nothing short of spectacular, whether you’re on a game drive or looking out to the river from your own veranda.
