Guests can visit Nairobi National Park on an exciting game drive, with the chance to see all kinds of animals such as lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, hyena, giraffe, and even the endangered black rhino! The Park boasts over 400 species of birds too.
You can also take advantage of the hotel’s convenient location for excursions to the famous Maasai Mara or the relaxing beaches of the Indian Ocean. And when you need a break between activities, you can pop to the on-site spa, where the friendly beauticians and stylists offer massages, mani-pedis, and all sorts of treatments – bliss!

The plantation-style hotel’s communal areas begin with its beautiful and airy lobby, where guests are welcomed by attentive staff.
To the left of the lobby area, you will find the main dining room, featuring smart upright chairs around individual tables – here you will be treated to some of the most delicious food in Nairobi! The hotel’s lounge areas are behind the lobby, peaceful in creams and light greens. A second dining area is situated on the upper story, accessible via a staircase that curves its way up, graceful and grand. In the grounds of the hotel, there is a sunny terrace with comfortable seating, where you can enjoy stunning views over lawns, lake, and woods below. You only have to ask and your personal butler will refresh your drink, whatever the time of day. To the left, there is the heated swimming pool – this adjoins the spa, where you can indulge in a little pampering. And for guests who like to get energetic, there is also a gym!

All 45 guest rooms at Hemingways Nairobi are light and airy, with high ceilings.
Of these, 43 are Junior Suites and two are Presidential Suites! The décor features muted colours and fabrics, creating a contemporary feel, while notes of leather and mahogany bestow a safari vibe. Both accommodation options have a private balcony – here, you are treated to the view of The Green Hills of Africa, as described by Hemingway himself! The beds are made with the finest Egyptian cottons and there is air conditioning to guarantee your comfort, as well as a television, complimentary Wi-Fi, an electronic safe, and a personalised bar. Egyptian cotton turns up again, this time in towel form, in the en-suite facilities, which include a separate toilet, shower, and bathroom, all lined in hand-cut Italian marble. With your attentive butler on hand to look after your every need, you may not wish to leave your room at all!
