The setting is fabulous – the turquoise water of the Indian Ocean lapping onto miles of white sandy beach, untouched reefs home to thousands of tropical fish…… This is a place especially good for snorkelling.

The Lodge has a PADI dive center so is an excellent base for diving. However, there are other options to keep guests busy.

They can take trips in a dhow or motorboat, go island-hopping, track elephants by moonlight, visit local villages to watch the children playing football; they can even get involved in local community projects, such as helping with the building of a school or a well.

Alternatively, they can simply lie out on a lounger soaking in the relaxing atmosphere, while watching the occasional whale pass by between July and December.
